Empowering Media chooses Level(3) for new data center

Empowering Media chooses Level(3) to replace our existing data center with Globix. The new data center is located in Garden City, New York and offers much more flexibility with choice of bandwidth providers. The data center twenty-five miles from our existing Manhattan Data Center and close to our office. We will keep our existing data center in Manhattan with NYI and leverage both locations to increase uptime, reliability, and flexibility. Unlike other data centers in the Tri-State area, we have many square feet to grow into and it has ample cooling and power. This tier one data center has all of the necessary equipment to offer high reliability and includes: UPS battery backup, diesel generator, hot-cold isles and raised flooring. Migration from the existing data center to the new location will be completed by October 31st 2005.
